Research • Lived Experience • AdvocacyI bring research, lived experience, and practice together to strengthen meaningful participation in child and family social work.
About
I work across UK universities and local authorities as a research associate, peer researcher, educator, and parent advocate. My work focuses on meaningful participation in child and family social work, particularly child protection, family group decision making and parental advocacy.I contribute to funded research and to the development and improvement of family group decision making and parental advocacy services. I also coordinate the Camden Family Advisory Board, creating space for dialogue between families and professionals. Through training and facilitation and service development, I contribute to more relational and ethical approaches in social work practice.Education
